Scope: App Design

Challenge:
Every year, the Boating, Wakeboarding and WaterSki magazines developed a guide for Boat Buyers. The terminology “print is dead” was going around and readership was low.

The recommendation to both highlight and target a new audience was to develop an app version of the guide.

Conceptualized and designed the Boat Buyers Guide app from the ground up, delivering a user-friendly and visually engaging experience tailored to first-time buyers. The app launch was highly successful, generating over 25% higher-than-expected downloads in its first quarter and achieving a 20% user retention rate due to its intuitive navigation and seamless user experience.
